Judgment by Works

God will judge the world through the man he has appointed, Jesus. He will judge every single person by works without any partiality whatsoever. The Scriptures are unambiguously consistent regarding Judgment day. To those who have practiced good, eternal life. To those who have practiced evil, eternal destruction.

Ecclesiastes 12:14
For God will bring every work into judgment, everything which is hidden, whether good or evil.

Matthew 25:31-46
But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.   All the nations will be gathered before him; and he will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats;    and he will put the sheep on his right, and the goats on the left.   Then the King will say to those on hs right, 'Come, you who are blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.   For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited me in;    naked, and you clothed me; I was sick, and you visited me; I was in prison, and you came to me.'   Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you, or thirsty, and give you something to drink? And when did we see you a stranger, and invite you in, or naked, and clothe you?   When did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you?'  The King will answer and say to them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of mine, even the least of them, you did it to me.'   Then he will also say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;    for I was hungry, and you gave me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me nothing to drink;    I was a stranger, and you did not invite me in; naked, and you did not clothe me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit me.'   Then they themselves also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of you?' Then He will answer them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.'   These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

See Matt 3:8-10; 7:19; John 15:1-17; Eph 2:10; James 1:22-2:24; 1 John 3:14-18.

Revelation 20:12-15
And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their works.   And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their works.   Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

John 5:28-29
Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear his voice,   and will come forth; those who did good to a resurrection of life, those who practiced evil to a resurrection of judgment.

Matthew 16:27
For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and will render to each one according to what he has done.

Revelation 22:12
Behold, I am coming quickly, and my recompense is with me, to render to every man according to his work.

Hebrews 10:30
For we know Him who said, "Vengeneance is Mine, I will repay." And again, "The Lord will judge His people."

2 Corinthians 5:10-11
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive according to what he did in the body whether good or evil.   Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men.

1 Peter 1:14-17
As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance,   but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior;   because it is written, "You shall be holy for I am holy."    If you call upon as Father the One who impartially judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay sojourning.

Romans 2:6-16
[God] will render to each one according to his works.  To those who patienty do good seeking for glory, honor, and immortality, eternal life but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,   tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.    For there is no partiality with God.....     in the Day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my Gospel
